Pro-Flex Male Fitting

APPLICATION

The Pro-FlexTM Male Fitting provides a transition between Pro-Flex tubing [Pro-Flex yellow CSST or FlakJacket Arc-Resistant CSST] and other piping system components [rigid pipe, valves, manifolds, etc. All Pro-Flex Male Fittings have outer threads [MIP] that are the same size as the nominal pipe size and are also tapped inside to the next smaller female [FIP] thread. Example: Pro-flex 1/2” Male Fittings are 1/2” Pro-Flex x 1/2” MIP and are also tapped to 3/8” FIP.

INSTALLATION

Product installation and system testing shall be completed by a qualified installer in accordance with NFPA 54/ANSI Z223.1 (National Fuel Gas Code), National Gas & Propane Installation Code B149.1 (Canada), state/local codes and the Pro-Flex Installation/ Training Guide.
